Accredited Employer Work Visa

An Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) allows you to work in New Zealand for up to five years. Certain occupations may also provide a pathway to residence.

Summary of Requirements:

  • Applicants must have a full-time job offer from an accredited New Zealand employer
  • Be of good health and character
  • Provide evidence of work experience and/or qualifications for the job offered.

Skilled Migrant Resident Visa

This visa is for people who have the skills New Zealand needs for economic growth.

Summary of Requirements:

  • Be aged 55 or younger at the time the residence application is made
  • Meet good health and character requirements
  • English language requirements
  • Meet the skilled employment requirements
  • Qualify for 6 points
  • The employment is genuine, full-time, and either permanent or for a fixed term of at least 12 months.

Skilled Migrant Resident Visa

Straight To Residence Visa

If you have one of the skills on the Green list (Tier 1), you may be eligible for Fast Track to residency.

  • Be of good health and character
  • English language requirements
  • Hold current employment or a job offer from an accredited employer, and your role is on Tier 1 of the Green List
  • The employment must be genuine, full-time, and offer a pay rate at or above the median wage.

Student Visas
